DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS: Two years experience in customer service related field and six months experience in Phlebotomy.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.  Ability to work under stress with frequent interruptions and requires knowledge of laboratory processes.  High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Phlebotomy certification preferred. DESCRIPTION: Provides support with the daily activities of the medical laboratory including greeting patients, phlebotomy, paperwork completion, and processing samples.  Performs day to day phlebotomy functions including drawing blood, data entry of testing requests, processing samples for testing, ordering and stocking supplies, miscellaneous clinical duties, etc.; maintains a professional image in appearance as well as over the phone.  Balances team and individual responsibilities.  Provides courteous and friendly service to all patients and coworkers and contributes to building a positive work environment.  This position may, at times, be called on to assist in receptionist responsibilities, and requires a true team player.  This position rotates between the American Fork Main Lab, Women's Center Lab, Lone Peak Lab and Orem Lab and involves a rotating schedule.  Schedules may start as early as 7:00 a.m. and end as late as 6:00 p.m.
